by answering the questions about each podcast! MECHANICS:
1. This contest is open to all coffee enthusiasts. 2. Employees and immediate family members of Figaro Coffee Company and
current BC111 students are ineligible to join this contest. 3. Contestants must listen to the 5 podcasts found in http://stiryoursenses.podomatic.com and answer the questions correctly via email. Send your entries to coffeecasts@yahoo.com with the subject: coffeecastcontest including your name, age, cp no, address, and answers. 4. Each contestant is entitled to only one entry. 5. Only entries with correct answers will be included in the raffle draw. 6. Winners will be drawn during the launch on April 9, 2008,6:30-8:30pm at Figaro Meralco Strip at Ortigas Avenue. Contestants must be present during the launch to be eligible for the draw. 7. Winners must present at least one (1) current valid ID with picture to claim their prize. Valid IDs a. School ID b.  What a cool Saturday we (Iris, JR, Lorenne, Addy, me, Sha, and Meg) had with Figaro Commonwealth.  had a lot. They were so generous that we wanted to stay the whole day. Knowing that they even prepared the function room and the huge coffee equipment just for us, made our stay so great. Tsk, tsk, tsk...Sorry for those who just stayed at home. hahaha.. We were so special, thay treated us very well. Thanks to them. Hope there will be a second time.  with almost 50 auditionees, the 15 member advanced-radio-production class indeed had a hard time, both in crewing and in lending a broadcast-filtered ear. too many good talents yielded to too many decisive moments, especially for our 5 Production Managers who served as judges in behalf of their respective production crews. finally, after 1 week of *intense* deliberation (and heated arguments over which production group gets who and what production genre fits who), here is the list of the chosen talents for COFFEECASTS: Stir your senses. oh, and this is sorted according to the production you are to talent in. CONGRATULATIONS! this goes for the other auditionees as well, all of you have done pretty good! really! thank you for lending your time and voices, and we hope that in stirring senses, you will be there to support the project. for questions, do not hesitate to contact us.Dear talents, your respective production managers will contact you regarding the production schedules. with only one day of publicity, we weren't expecting many people to come and try out for our coffeecasts auditions. but with around 50 auditionees, i'd say THAT was not bad at all! in fact, all 15 members of the production crew were perpetually on their toes for the whole 6 hours since there werent any lack of tasks and errands. anyways, i would like to thank everyone who had made the auditions possible. you're presence, patience, and efforts made the activity successful. oh, and sorry, there wont be any new dates for the auditions. that was the only date we could allot for it, thus the auditions are really over. results will be made official next wednesday, and will be announced at most, on February 1. Speak (C)up! do you want to be the next VOICE of FIGARO COFFEE? auditions for narrators* radio drama talents* guitarists* bossanova singers* keyboardists* brass wind instrumentalists* percussionists* will be held this wednesday, January 23 at the 1-4pm. Since when did coffee need a voice? Well, FIGARO had this brilliant idea of fusing COFFEE ENTHUSIASM with BROADCAST TECHNOLOGY, thus giving birth to their soon to be launched project called COFFEECASTS: Stir your senses! Coffeecasts: Stir Your Senses is a joint project of students from the University of the Philippines Diliman BC111 (Advanced Radio Production) and the Figaro Coffee Company. Coffeecasts are podcasts which aim to promote the appreciation towards coffee and its industry. And in line with this, we are looking for talents who can help us craft this project to perfection. Among the talents we need are: For the jingle— · Bossanova singers · Guitarists · Percussionists (beat box, shakers, what not) · Brass wind instrumentalists For the documentaries and dramas · Narrators · Drama talents The auditions will be this Wednesday, January 23 from 1-4 pm at the University of the Philippines College of Mass Communication Radio studio.
